Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Splunk Developer with a strong background in Splunk UI development, SPL, and Python programming. The ideal candidate should be Splunk Power User Certified and capable of designing, developing, and maintaining Splunk dashboards, alerts, and data visualizations. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom dashboards, alerts, and visualizations using Splunk SPL and UI tools
• Configure, integrate, and optimize Splunk data sources and indexing strategies
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless Splunk integration across systems
• Use Python 3 for automation, custom scripts, and advanced analytics within the Splunk environment
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot issues, and deliver reliable solutions
• Support ongoing improvements in monitoring, observability, and log management strategies
• Document system configurations, changes, and best practices

Required Skills and Experience

• Splunk Power User Certification is mandatory
• Proven experience in UI development within Splunk, including dashboards, panels, and forms
• In-depth knowledge of Search Processing Language (SPL) and Splunk configuration/integration best practices
• Strong hands-on development experience in Python 3
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis and solution design
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
