Job: School Nursing Join our team as an elementary or middle school nurse and make a difference in the lives of young learners. We are looking for dedicated nurses to provide compassionate care, administer medications, conduct health assessments, and collaborate with teachers and District nursing staff to create a safe and nurturing environment for students to thrive. Responsibilities

• Provide on-site nursing care to students in elementary or middle school buildings
• Administer medications
• Monitor and manage in-school medical care for students with chronic conditions (ie diabetes, seizures, cerebral palsy) or temporary medical needs
• Triage, treat, provide interim urgent care to injured or ill students

Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN license in Illinois.
• Recent physical (1 year or less) and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience preferred.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
• This is not a desk job. Successful nurses will be on school premises interacting with students of varying ages. Nurse must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull without restrictions.
