Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Nights)
Pay Range: $55 – $68 per hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for an exciting job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients.
Continuously monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and conscious sedation according to hospital protocols.
Assist obstetricians and midwives during labor and delivery procedures.
Educate and support patients and families regarding childbirth, recovery, and newborn care.
Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation.
Uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Maternal & Child Health.
Minimum 2 years of experience in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
Minimum 2 years of experience administering conscious sedation.
Education
Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN).
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Licensure & Certifications
Active and unrestricted New York State RN License.
Primary source verification through NYSED.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
