Job Description

Summary

Entry level position performing basic functions on assigned projects while workingin accordance withgeneralobjectives. Involves activities such aselectricalcomponentinspection, reviewing inspection paperwork, simple cabletestingandmeasuring for product acceptance. Quality Technician Is work with leads/subject matter expertstointerface with engineers andprovidequalitycontrolinspections.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Learns from leads/subject matter experts to performdocumentation review andvisualinspections of parts,assemblies,cables, subassemblies,production processes,andsimple cabletestson internally and externally manufactured items.
• Participates in teamwork related activities without expectation todemonstrateany informal leadership skills
• Develops skills tooperatecomputersandfunction in a lab/manufacturing environment,followsdetailedinspection/test instructions.
• Assistsin ensuringcontrolof productperrequired documentation, forms, numbering, labeling,andassessment of tightly controlled items and applicable training.

You Must Have

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to travel as determined by the needs of the business.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• United States Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).

• Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, etc.
• Demonstratesinterpersonal and communication skills and proven ability in decision making, organizing, and problem solving.
• Formal training or practical experience equivalent to technical knowledge obtained in military training courses or through a two-year technical degree
