The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the execution of the Marketing Department’s efforts at Oberalp North America through the coordination of an array of trade, 
Public Relations (PR), Sports Marketing (SPOMA), media, sales force, consumer facing sales and marketing initiatives, and internal company projects.  
These initiatives include seasonal sales campaigns, sales meetings, national and regional trade shows, dealer and consumer events, and seasonal marketing activities.  
This role is also responsible for development and execution of digital and visual content.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the operations of the Oberalp North America Marketing Department under the guidance of the Sales and Marketing Director
  • Manage all elements of sales and marketing files, budget execution, documents, and images on company Dropbox account for access by internal and external partners (reps, dealers), with oversight of Sales and Marketing Director
  • Lead planning and execution of national and regional trade shows.  Attend trade shows and present the company product line to dealers, media, and other visitors.
  • Manage the planning and execution of company events, including sales meetings, dealer events, samples sales, and consumer events
  • Oversee the calendar of national and regional events and schedule adequate staffing among the Oberalp North American team and sales force.
  • Lead all Creative and Digital Marketing efforts for Oberalp North America upholding and aligning with Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines set by each brand
  • Manage all local Social, affiliate, and trade marketing activities in concert with international brand marketing, local ecommerce, and performance marketing teams
  • Lead the production and distribution of seasonal product sales and marketing materials – workbooks, sell-sheets, etc.  Responsibilities include graphic design, proofing, and print sourcing(if applicable)
  • Support sales force and public relations (PR) agency with marketing asset needs
  • Oversee maintenance of the Oberalp North America showroom, including seasonal updates, and samples management
  • Oversee order entry of sales, marketing, and media product orders
  • Manage athlete engagement, contracts, and update athletes on all brand initiatives
  • Manage existing (and forge new) strategic marketing partnerships for our brands
  • Oversee vendor relationships for sourcing promotional items, in-store visual branding items, and printing needs
  • Proactively liaise with international brand teams, PR agency, athletes, and other stakeholders on a regular basis to further and track projects and objectives
  • Manage project-based budgets for the above activities to ensure alignment with overall marketing budget
  • Manage marketing team members, including hiring, training, and development


Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Extensive experience in the field of marketing management, preferably in the outdoor industry
  • Demonstrated people management experience
  • Ability to work in teams within an international environment in a complex matrix organization
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 with bonus opportunity
