Job Description

Position Objective

Porsche Financial Services Internship opportunities are designed to promote both career development and functional expertise for the intern, as well as to complete project-related and day-to-day support for the department. The intern will support the Human Resources department on specific HR strategic initiatives and various projects proposed by the HR department.  The hourly range for this role is $18-$20. 

Internship duration is a minimum of 6 months

In office hours - 8 am – 3 pm (Mon – Fr

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide tactical department support towards the achievement of organizational objectives
  • Support the coordination of classes for all staff, includes creating class schedules with the vendors and Training team.
  • Support the Office equipment management and OPD Kitchen/Breakroom items.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding as needed.
  • Assist with employee events and activities in the office as needed.
  • Assist with department budgeting, invoicing, and vendor management.
  • Assist with administrative support and other ad hoc HR related projects as assigned.

Education:

  • Recent graduate or Junior/Senior currently attaining Bachelor’s Degree in Business with focus on Human Resources, Human Capital, Organizational Leadership, or comparable study is required
  • Previous Internships in Corporate environments preferred.

Skills:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe
  • Proactive and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage and oversee several activities at once
  • Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities
  • Analytical, organizational, and time management skills
