Title: Director Devops Security SRE )

Location: Remote (MUST work EST hours)

Travel: Occasional visits to Client sites in PA/NJ

Duration: Long-term

Overview: We are seeking a senior-level Security Engineer/Architect with strong hands-on WAF experience to support the Head of a key Cybersecurity division at Client. This role combines technical engineering, application security, and strategic cybersecurity support for global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise WAF solutions (AWS WAF, Akamai, F5, Cloudflare, Imperva, etc.)
• Support global cybersecurity initiatives across U.S. and Europe
• Provide hands-on engineering for security controls, cloud security, and defensive security
• Collaborate directly with senior leadership; deliver clear communication and technical guidance
• Assist with incident response, threat mitigation, and application security improvements
• Participate in strategic planning and security roadmap discussions

Required Skills:

• Strong, proven experience with enterprise WAF (MUST-HAVE)
• Background in security engineering, cloud security, or SRE/DevSecOps
• Experience with AWS/Azure security tools (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and executive presence
• Must be based in EST time zone or able to work EST
• Ability to occasionally travel to PA/NJ
